At Bacchus Marsh Veterinary Centre we run a kitten adoption program with our local councils. We are working hard to find homes for as many rescued kittens and cats as we can. We have kittens and cats available at most times of year. If you or a friend are looking for a new furry family member, please consider one of our adoption kitties.
Cats and kittens through our program are:
- Health checked
- Vaccinated
- Microchipped
- Flea’d
- Wormed
- Desexed
In addition, all our adoptions receive their remaining kitten booster shots at half price, and go home with a special kitten pack including a bag of food and a tickler toy! All our beautiful adoptees have a profile on our facebook page. Here you can have a look at their beautiful faces and gain a little bit of insight into their wonderfully unique personalities.
To adopt a kitten you will need to fill out an application form and submit it to the clinic either in person or via email to bmvet@westvetcare.com.au

How does the application process work?
When your application is submitted it will be reviewed by our kitten program staff to ensure we have an understanding of what sort of kitten or cat you are after. Our staff will be in contact to advise you how our waiting list is looking and hopefully to organise a meet and greet with your potential adoptee.
Please be aware that there is often a lot of interest for kittens and sometimes their special requirements mean a more rigorous vetting process is in place – do not despair if you miss out on the animal you are interested in, we will hold onto your application and should you spot another kitten of interest all you have to do is let us know and we will sort out your application from there!
